RSVP: Society OPG Local Referendum Meeting

Join us for lunch to learn about the upcoming referendum on changing our union's name.

The Society of Energy Professionals is asking members to support changing our name to make it inclusive and modern. Society of United Professionals speaks not just to who we are today but also who we want to be in 10 years.

At Council, delegates unanimously endorsed this name change. Now it’s up to you.

Five additional recommended constitutional amendments complement our new identity by strengthening our governance and capacity for future growth. We'll let you know about those proposals, too.

These changes need to be approved in a referendum of Society members.

Please join Society Executive Vice-President Michelle Johnston and Local Vice President Joe Fierro for an OPG Local member meeting to learn more about the exciting changes.

There will be free swag and door prizes. Lunch will be provided.
