June is Pride month, a time to recognize the progress made toward human rights for people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans*, queer, questioning, and 2-spirited (LGBTQ2).
Date: Sunday, June 24th
Time: 2pm
Location: Bloor Street & Ted Rogers Way
On Sunday, we'll meet up at 2pm at Bloor Street & Ted Rogers Way.
This year the parade will stop to observe a moment of silence to commemorate and honour members of the community that we have lost to HIV/AIDS, homophobic and transphobic laws, and hate crimes.
Members, their families and friends are also welcome and encouraged to join the SUP contingents for Kincardine Pride - June 23rd (DETAILS HERE).
If you plan to attend one of these marches, or would like to have SUP Pride materials to participate in event and marches in other communities, please contact IESO Local Unit Director Cindy Roks at [email protected].
